Moonbeams in the high country

Moonbeams in the high country

This morning as I was making my way west toward the Ten Mile Range and Peak One I could see the perfect outline of the mountains being lit by the moon just before it set. I have seen that before and it always reminds me of a painting rather than something that is real and before my eyes. I think about taking a picture but I am not sure I could without a tripod to keep it from being blurry in the low light. I am also not sure that some would say I had taken a photo of a painting rather than the real deal.

I like the real deal. g
