It Only Makes Sense

This past week there have been several stories about weight loss studies. In summary they all say the same thing. Eat less. Duh. The diets can be low carb, high carb, low sugar, high sugar, low cal, high cal and the lesson is the same. If you eat less you will weigh less.

The study had subjects eat four different diets but all had nearly 800 calories a day less than normal. They also had to do moderate exercise for 90 minutes a week. Everyone lost weight regardless of what they ate. Everyone lost weight because they ate less.

There is no magic bullet so save your money. Buy a padlock for your refrigerator. Stay away from restaurants.

One other factor was being in a group weight loss setting helps to motivate the dieter.

So the bottom line is that size does matter. The size of your meal that is. g
