Everyone Talks About It

The weather in the High Country of Colorado is very strange in March each year. We have had temperatures in the 60s recently and then last week we had 24 inches of snow in a couple of days. Everyone talks about the weather but no one ever does anything about it. I think Will Rogers said that.

I get weather alerts on my cell phone from the National Weather Service on my cell phone. Yesterday morning my phone had an alert that in the Central Rockies and Summit County were going to get 2 inches of new snow every hour for the next 24 hours. Forty-eight inches in 24 hours. I was in Boulder when I got the alert and I suppose that I should have jumped in the car and driven home. I didn't and when I finally came home later there were dry roads and sunny skies. Could I believe that someone did something about the weather? Was Will Rogers wrong?

This morning we started getting high winds and some light snow but nothing like what was forecast. I might just stay in the house anyway just in case. g
