Snow Forecast 002.jpgSnow Forecast forecast for later today in the Colorado high country.  Yes, later today.  Today being June 11, 2010.  These photos were taken by your's truly in the Town of Frisco, Colorado around 1 pm this afternoon.  One is looking toward Grey's and Torrey's and the Continental Divide and the other one is Buffalo Mountain on the Gore Range west of Silverthorne, Colorado.  Lots of ice in those clouds.  Even now as I look through my window on the world the clouds are even more menacing to the south and east.  Now watch.  Nothing will happen.  It is raining right now too.  In June of 1974 we had over 36 inches of new snow on the third of the month so such things happen.  Just when you thought it was safe to put away the snow blower.
