Colorado cold air makes my teeth hurt...
...when it is
three below zero
in Summit County.
At 3 a.m. this morning
it was so cold
you could hear
the air pop.
The largest full moon
I have ever seen
was suspended
over the Ten Mile Range
and it was so quiet
that you could
actually hear
the quiet..
The Blue River
east of my house
never freezes.
Never freezes
as it continues it's trek
to the mighty Colorado River
north of my place
and then
to the Gulf of California.
Running water.
Running away from the snow
and the cold
of Colorado
to lap on some warm beach
near Guaymas
populated by people
from Colorado
trying to
get the minus three degree cold
from their bones.
